Sessions – Individuals and Couples

All SESSIONS ARE CONTINUING BY ONLINE VIDEO OR BY TELEPHONE

• Sessions are 50-minutes or 80-minutes in length             
• By clicking on the BOOK NOW button above you can access a secure My Account portal, fill out your profile and schedule your sessions independently 
• You are also welcome to call or email and we’ll be happy to schedule a session for you

Fees

Fees are charged based on the length of a counselling/psychotherapy session

• FREE 15-minute consultation     
• $160.00 per 50-minute session for individuals and couples (including HST)
• $230.00 per 80-minute session for couples (including HST)

Late Cancellations & No Shows

Your session time is reserved just for you. Sessions missed or cancelled in less than 48 hours before the session start time are billed a late cancellation fee

• Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice are billed 50% of your total session fee (including HST)
• Late and no show fees may be automatically applied to the credit card on file

Payments

• All payments to Discover Counselling Services are due on the day the session is provided
• All major credit cards are accepted as payment including e-Transfers
• You are able to leave a valid credit card on file when you you fill out a profile online

Late Payments

• Payments are considered late one week after the session’s original scheduled date
• If payment is not received after one week since your last scheduled session, reminders are forwarded to you via email and telephone calls

Insurance Coverage

• OHIP does not cover fees for psychological services
• Discover Counselling Services does not offer direct billing to your insurance provider
• Your extended health benefit insurance plans may cover partial or all costs associated with your therapy
• Please refer to your policy coverage for Registered Social Work Services, Psychotherapy Services and Psychological Services
• You are provided with a receipt from Discover Counselling Services that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement

Call Backs

• Should you call and we are unavailable, you may leave a confidential message
• You will receive a call back or email response usually within 24 to 48hrs
• For messages left on a weekend, you will receive a call back or email response on the next business day
