Hi, I’m Ingrid Osland and before becoming a therapist, I made a big life change. I returned to school later in life and shifted careers because I felt deeply called to this work. That journey helps me connect with clients from a place of real understanding, not just professional training (though I bring that too).
If you’re reading this, you might be ready to take that first step towards therapy and you’re not alone. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about what comes next. I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore what’s going on and take meaningful steps toward the version of yourself you wish to become.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. We’ll work together to uncover tools and strategies that actually fit your life, not cookie-cutter advice. Along the way, we’ll build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and create space for growth at your own pace.
I’ve worked in schools, hospitals, mental health agencies and private practice settings with people from all backgrounds, and my approach is grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-aware care. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), that is always guided to meet your needs and goals for therapy.
Outside the therapy room, I volunteer in the youth justice system, spend time with my adult kids (who constantly teach me new things), friends, family and I practice daily mindfulness to stay grounded and present, especially so I can give my full attention to the clients I work with.
If you’re curious about starting therapy or just want to see if we’d be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Reach out anytime — I’d love to hear from you.
